Rows and flows of angel hair...
And ice cream castles in the air...
And feather canyons everywhere...
I've looked at clouds that way...
I really DON'T know clouds at all...otherwise, I'd be able to name this effect (pretty sure it's called the Cotton Ball Effect...or not) that hung over Vegas for a very short time when I got up this morning . Whatever the cloud type, I hope you see something equally as breathtaking in your part of the world today. Back tomorrow with a jewelry post - happy Wednesday!

They are altocumulus clouds.
I bought a cloud chart, took geology and physical geography courses, and I still have to look up most cloud names.lol
May, I KNEW it would be you who told me the answer! THANK YOU!
I was going to guess cumulus, but then I saw Maywyn's comment. They're pretty clouds.
Oh Tanya, dear thank you for the wonderful song, one of my favorites from so long time ago .
Your amazing clouds truly could be illusions, for me, as never seen them look like that.
Beautiful nature, stunning photos, and a song from my "hippie" time ,so lovely.
Thank you for bringing me to relax, I have been so angry with the post system, not delivering my post...and not trying to find it eighter .
HUGS, Dorthe
Beautiful photos and a favorite song, too! My favorite version is by Judy Collins. I didn't know that Joni Mitchell did it, too. Lovely.
Mary Ann - Joni wrote the song, but it was a toss-up on which to post as I love Judy's version, too!
Thank you Tanya and May for sharing not only these beautiful clouds but the name of them also. I love a blue sky with white puffy clouds...perfect!
